The artistry of Richárd Bernard’s music has been heard on recordings by many diverse performers ranging from Tori Amos to Jerry Lee Lewis, from international super-stars Placido Domingo to Ofra Haza, from Micky Dolenz to George Segal and rockers Red Square. He is seen in the 2008 films “Iron Man” and "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" (for which he also arranged Russian music); he has appeared in “HeartBreakers” (Sigourney Weaver/Gene Hackman), “Frankie and Johnny”(Al Pacino), “Love Affair” (Warren Beatty), “The Flintstones” and many others, as well as T.V. shows “Boston Legal”, “Gilmore Girls”,  “Mad About You”, “Cheers”, “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman”, “Sinatra”, “Bob Newhart”, “Golden Girls”, “Beverly Hills, 90210”, “3rd Rock from the Sun”, “The Weber Show”, and each week for two seasons on NBC’s “Barbara Mandrell Show”. He is a Royal Caribbean Cruise Headliner and has appeared as guest artist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony.

His bands and full-service entertainment company supply superior music and variety acts for many of L.A.’s most prestigious celebrity events including four parties for Steven Spielberg, events for Bob Dylan, Neve Campbell, Jack Nicholson, Roseanne, Cher, studio heads Michael Eisner, Barry Diller, Dino de Laurentiis, Haim Saban; the famous New Years Eve party at Spago, and the LA Times Millennium bash.  Past galas featuring RICHÁRD BERNARD include the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Armand Hammer Museum, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and many film premiers.

ADDITIONAL CREDITS include Geffen Playhouse Klezmer musical “Shlemiel the First” and Greek Theatre concert with Marvin Hamlisch and Theodore Bikel. Richárd performs on soundtracks for films “Maximum Risk” and “A Call to Remember”, but not on “Cast A Giant Shadow”, the Kirk Douglas movie about Richárd’s distant cousin Mickey Marcus.  But you should see it – even Mr. Sinatra is in it.
